Hi ! Long time, no posts, no blogging.. Time goes so quickly for me these days and i am already wondering where the last 5 months of my life went.
But there are a few good reasons for this pause in my life.
Earlier in the year, my husband and i split up - things werent working out for us and to respect the years we spent together as husband and wife, i will not go further on that. It really is a sad event in both of our lives to admit you have failed at a relationship, but hopefully we will both learn from it. We still have alot of love and respect for each other, but we didnt have a partnership in the end and we just grew apart over time. Its just really sad as we both tried really hard to make it work.
I am still scrapping and have enjoyed it a lot over the last month or so alot more since i have settled down a little. I have made quite a few things lately and expect to do alot more.
Its hard sometimes to get motivated when you are in a state of upheaval as i was.
But i have a new place on the peninsula which will be really enjoyable if the weather is nice and sunny like it has been. I am enjoying it alot and am quite happy at the moment.
Scrapping has allowed me to forget my troubles and let me go off into la la land for a bit which has been my savour really - i had something else to concentrate on as well.
I would like to take this opportuntity to say a very big thank you to everyone at Arty Pants especially Judy & Jodie who have supported me no end and have always been very kind and generous. Not only have they been very kind to me as my bosses, but also very generous as friends as well. Not to mention Lisa Lynne and Andrea who have always been the people who have comforted me and given me strength when i have had a few sad times as well.
I am so so lucky to have these friends around me.
I have a few scrapping projects on the go at the moment - got the FABULOUS NEW for OCTOBER Arty Pants kit to complete in the next few days, and am so excited - have so many good ideas for this one so i cant wait to get my photos done and get started. I just brought a new SD card for my camera too last week and have been snap happening away.
As soon as i can share a sneak peak, i will. On other scrappy news - i have been doing a few otps which i cant share just yet, but i will show you soon and a little secret i have kept from this post.
Also, i am in the midst of having a new clean up and am deciding what to do with the scrappy supplies i have but can no longer use. I might have a giveaway to celebrate my new blog..
So with all this to organise i better choof
